In 1989, Joseph Joestar travels to Japan to see his grandson Jotaro Kujo after his daughter Holly expresses concern. Jotaro, convinced an evil spirit has taken hold of him, locks himself away, fearing he might hurt others. Joseph explains that this isn’t a spirit but a Stand—a manifestation of one’s inner strength—and reveals both he and his ally Mohammed Avdol wield their own Stands. Soon, they discover an old enemy has resurfaced, awakening the Joestar family’s Stand abilities. When Holly develops a Stand but can’t control it, falling dangerously ill, the group embarks on a perilous journey from Japan to Egypt. Along the way, they face ruthless Stand users and forge new alliances, racing to save Holly and defeat their ancient foe once and for all.
